Wayfinding Signage Family

Work created and designed in Adobe Photoshop

Starting with analysis of the current wayfinding design system in place at Sentosa, this project covered the different aspects that influence the design of a signage family and system. Crafting a mock proposal for Sentosa Sensory Scape, the following details the process from start to finish as I analysed and covered the design choices that went into my creation of the signage family.

Crafting isovists, and planning the layout of the different signages based on where decision points and reassurance points were needed. A user journey was also crafted and accounted for.

Ideation for the different potential steps we could take were presented in clear points, with the inspirations listed and draft sketches where necessary.

The ideas were then turned into sketches, and further refined based on feedback to reduce the number of signs in the signage family. The design was also adjusted to better match existing Sentosa signs more a more cohesive look.
